| Paul
has been working in the photographic industry for over 15 years, beginning
as a photographer's assistant in various London studios including New Bond
St and New Oxford St. He then worked as a location and studio photographer
for studios in London, Sussex, and Surrey. This included work for clients
such as Sainsburys magazine, Slimming magazine, Radio Times, Save the Children,
and many other blue chip clients. In 1994 Paul had the opportunity to work abroad for a year as a social and wedding photographer aboard a cruise ship that sailed from Miami to Mexico via the Caribbean and then for the last six months from Vancouver to Alaska. Since returning to England Paul has concentrated on social photography working as a freelance photographer specialising in Wedding photography for Studios in the Southeast. This experience led to the creation of Paul Martin Photography in 1997. This has given Paul the opportunity to use his many years of photographic experience to build up a reputation for producing creative and imaginative wedding and occasion photography, which has been appreciated by couples from London and the Home Counties. In preparation Paul always visits the locations several times before the wedding day and is always happy to invite clients to accompany him on one of these visits. This enables a discussion about the suitable locations for photography, and allows the couple to be more relaxed, which leads to a stress free and fun day. This is something Paul and his assistant Laura aim for and are often complimented on, their ability to be creative without making a fuss or taking over a couple's special day. At Paul Martin Photography we aim to ensure that you receive a selection of traditional, romantic and fun photographs for you to choose from. We like to combine traditional poses with informal candid shots in both colour and black and white to give a more creative feel to your album. |
